How to use the Weekly Stock Picks? |

The Weekly Stock Picks includes 5 stocks from the Advanced Technical Alerts list. Portfolio allocates equal amount for each of the 5 picked stocks. If Weekly Stock Picks has less than 5 stocks, portfolio keeps cash for missing stocks. For example, the $50,000 portfolio allocates $10,000 for each stock. If Weekly Stock Picks has only 3 stocks, portfolio holds $20,000 in cash. It is possible in extremely overbought market, that portfolio holds 100% cash. The higher is the market downturn risk, the bigger cash amount.
Trading rules:
- Allocate 20% for each of the 5 positions.
- Open long position for each of Weekly Stock Picks.
- Keep cash if Weekly Pick has less then 5 stocks.
- Close long position on the week last business day at market close.
For simplicity's sake we assume that all trades are made on the last business day of the week at market close.
For consistency reasons our portfolios include only S&P 500 stocks. Stocks
removed from S&P 500 index are removed from portfolios the same day, and we
close all open positions at the market close price.
